Robbie Deeks
Robbie started out his Summer Company “RD Lawn Care” in 2011 and merged in 2012 with fellow Summer Company entrepreneur Harrison Olajos, to form Thousand Islands Lawn & Landscaping.
He then went on to Western University and spent most of his next 4 years outside of the classroom working across a series of startups. Having the itch to get into the technology sector, he then joined Shopify and quickly made a name for himself becoming the top revenue person at Shopify Plus.
After 2 years, Robbie went on to co-found VaynerCommerce with serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk and helped grow it to a multi-million dollar commerce advisory firm, advising some of the biggest and fastest growing consumer brands in North America.
Robbie is now the CEO of his own company, Blacklake, which builds companies that solve foundational national security challenges facing private and public sectors. His first company under Blacklake will focus on cybersecurity and intelligence.
