While gaps in gender equality continue to narrow, and more and more women control their family finances – jointly or solely – only a small portion of women actually have an investment plan in place and take an active role in their financial future.  This comes as Canadian women are expected to control close to half of all financial wealth a decade from now, thanks to greater professional and entrepreneurial responsibilities and an incoming transfer of wealth.

In keeping with this year’s theme of “Press for Progress”, this presentation will address the unique opportunities and challenges women face from a financial perspective, with the objective of encouraging more women to lean in for gender equality, and become more engaged with their investments and financial planning.  You will hopefully come away with a deeper understanding of where you stand, where you want to go and the best way to get there.

8:30-9:00 Lifetime Achievement Award – We recognize a women who has been in business for many years and to celebrate her achievements as a business leader in our community.  We can’t wait to reveal the winner!
